African way to win the lottery

It seems that some South African gamblers is trying to win millions on the country’s national lottery have been using some ‘chemicals’ to see the “vision” of winning numbers in their head. According to the UK newspaper The Daily Telegraph, they believe that the smoking dried vulture brains and other ancient ‘muti’ which is their organic traditional medicines, has caused reduction in the vulture population. “Wildlife specialists have warned that vultures face extermination in South Africa among a rising trend for smoking their dried brains so as to get a vision of winning lottery numbers,” as reported by the newspaper this week.

In Sweden an anonymous online gambling company has willingly paid back 4.9 million kronor, about $673 000. This money was stolen by a gambling addict from her employer and wagered at its website. The unidentified gambler in question was managing an Uppsala company’s finances and embezzled around 15 million kronor to use in her gambling addiction.

Additional Israelis being prosecuted
